Uttarakhand weather alert: IMD issues yellow and orange warnings for August 21 as heavy rain looms
IMD has issued yellow alerts for 10 Uttarakhand districts and orange alerts for Uttarkashi and Dehradun on August 21, warning of heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and squally winds. The nowcast is valid till 6 PM. Landslides in hills and flooding in low-lying areas are possible. The wet spell across Northwest India may last until August 26 before easing.
