Correction Window for CUET UG 2025 Applications Opens
Exciting news for aspiring college students! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the opening of a correction window for the CUET UG 2025 application forms, which will be available until March 28, 2025, at 11:50 PM IST. This window is a valuable opportunity for applicants who need to make critical corrections to their submitted forms, ensuring everything is just right for the big day.
During this short window, candidates have the chance to rectify some of their personal information. The changes allowed include the candidate's name, the name of their parents, class X and XII details, their date of birth, gender, and their category or sub-category, including any specific requirements under the PwD status. They can also update their photograph, signature, and exam city preferences, which are determined based on their permanent or present addresses.
However, it's important to keep in mind that not everything is up for change. The mobile numbers, email addresses, as well as permanent and present addresses cannot be modified at this stage. Similarly, applicants cannot alter their chosen streams or their nationality, ensuring some foundational details remain consistent throughout the application process.
For those making changes that result in an alteration of the application fee, be aware that there will be an additional charge. Candidates must log into the official portal at cuet.nta.nic.in using their application number and password, make the necessary edits, pay any additional fees, and save the amended application form. It’s a straightforward process, but it requires careful attention to detail to avoid future complications.
What Lies Ahead for CUET UG 2025 Aspirants
The CUET UG 2025 exam is slated to take place from May 8 to June 1, offering a diverse array of testing languages. The exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and several regional languages like Assamese, Bengali, and Tamil. This multicultural approach makes the test accessible to a wide range of students across the country.
Admit cards and exam city allocations are major aspects that students eagerly anticipate. The NTA will release these details soon, providing much-needed clarity on logistical arrangements for each candidate. With the correction window providing a chance to ensure accurate information, candidates can focus on preparing for the exam without worrying about administrative slip-ups. This ensures a smooth process leading up to the examination period and helps students maintain their focus on the bigger picture.
